Karri Cup MTB Challenge 2015
With the deepest regret we have had to cancel the Karri Cup® 2015 MTB Challenge due to an extensive (91,000 hectares in area with a perimeter of 354km) bush fire, which is still burning around Northcliffe. The fire has been declared a natural disaster and significant resources are still engaged in trying to bring it under control.
Over 80% of the track has been burnt out and is unsafe so the Department of Parks and Wildlife has withdrawn permission for the event. Your safety and the safety of our volunteers are paramount.
Thank you. We hope to be able to offer the event again next year.
MTB events have been organised over the Labour Day long weekend to fill the void created by the cancellation of this year's Karri Cup and to raise funds for the Northcliffe community. Check out the details here.
